Melon Fashion Group initiates projects to help those in need of care and attention. We cooperate with foundations that have taken it upon themselves to help others. We have identified several areas where we can make a feasible contribution.
BE OPEN, EMPATHETIC, AND SINCERE
FRIENDSHIP WITH THE RAUL FOUNDATION
For more than 10 years we have been cooperating with the Raul Charitable Foundation, which helps graduates of orphanages and correctional homes to adapt to adulthood. The foundation specialists also support the children in their education, employment, everyday life, and leisure activities. The foundation’s beneficiaries actively participate in the company’s and brands’ creative projects.
EMPLOYMENT OF PEOPLE WITH LOW STARTING OPPORTUNITIES
Since 2013, Melon Fashion Group has been implementing a socially important supported employment program in partnership with the Work-i center. Together we help young people with disabilities and graduates of orphanages and correctional schools to get their first work experience, find their vocation in life, and earn their own money.
Together with their tutors, candidates learn how to steam and alarm clothes, sort and size clothes, work in the warehouse, and communicate with customers. After completing the supported employment program, children can join the Melon Fashion Group staff or independently enter the open labor market.

The main achievement was winning the prestigious Head Hunter’s HR Brand Award in the special category ’Equal Opportunities’ from the Perspektiva Regional NGO for persons with disabilities.
2021 VISIONARIES
The program was awarded second place at the annual All-Russian Award for Sustainable Impact Assessment in the Economy, Environment and Society «Managing Change. 2021 Visionaries» in the «Society. Business» nomination.
DELOVOY PETERBURG
Delovoy Peterburg included the project of supported employment of people with low starting opportunities in the rating of social and environmental practices, awarding it 1st place. As per experts, the initiative develops the theme of inclusivity and social responsibility of business to society.
Together with the Rabota-i center, we aim to ensure that the employment of young people with low start-up opportunities in all regions of Russia is not an isolated practice of individual companies, but the work of a large community of inclusive businesses.

We also support an excursion project for children with hearing difficulties.

CORPORATE DONATION
Every year, Melon Fashion Group holds a corporate Donor Day to support hospitals experiencing acute blood shortage. The number of participants in the program is growing every year, including honorary donors of St. Petersburg.
The number of participants is also growing every year. During the year, 73 people took part in the charity program, helping the city’s blood donor station to replenish its blood bank by at least 40 liters!
REFUSAL OF NEW YEAR’S GIFTS
Since 2015, the company has been making a charitable contribution to the St. Petersburg Parents Foundation instead of traditional New Year’s gifts for the team and partners. With this money, they organize additional care, gifts, and a holiday for kids who will have to spend the most magical night in hospitals.
PARTICIPATION IN CHARITY RACES
Every year, the amateur running team participates in charity races to help foundations in need of support. For us, sport is not just a way of team building, but also an opportunity to do a good deed.
SUPPORT FOR PENSIONERS
The company supports employees who have worked for more than 20 years at Pervomayskaya Zarya, Kurt Kellermann, and Melon Fashion Group. Every month we pay a cash benefit equal to the amount of the state-funded pension.

It is not enough for us to be successful, we need to be honest, open, and sincere. We will continue to develop charitable programs and projects to help those who need them.
